Her mother and father were house pets who were stolen from their owners and thrown into the underground world of dog fighting. They had difficulty transitioning into such a brutal lifestyle. Claymore, their offspring, was born into that environment. While her parents were forgiving of humans, since they had once belong to good families, Claymore was unfamiliar with this bond between dogs and humans. As such, she has developed a deep resentment of humans. Claymore's parents, in time, succumbed to their injuries and became incapable of winning fights. They were demoted to bait animals and passed shortly after. Clay persisted through her fights but yearned for an existence beyond chains and fences.
