Her coat covers the majority, but when she is wet the foreleg scars become visible and looks like light pink, fleshy snakes (description courtesy of her twin brother). Overall Appearance • Ve has chocolate brown eyes, unlike her icy blue twin, and is majority black with patches of tan and a furry white chest. She has more muscle than him, but is slower because of it. Between the two, she picks the fights. However, the benefit to being twins is the ability to tag-team other animals. She is a free spirit who has an unquenchable thirst for adventure and a heart the size of the city she wanders. Ve is caring, but only to the point that it doesn't interfere with her adventures. The moment someone criticizes her seeming lack of common sense when it comes to certain things ("Like that time you picked a fight with that mafia-boss Chihuahua because you were slightly bigger than he was even though he had bodyguards breathing down our necks." ~Vali). She is fiercely protective of her younger brother and only he is allowed to tease her. While she has her head in the clouds most of the time, she isn't without a serious side. She handles her brother's paranoia despite being the source of most of it, and their combined companionship offers and nurturing atmosphere most strays lack. the history Father • Burr Mother • Bestila Siblings • Ve (f) and subsequent litters of Bestila Overall History • Vali and Ve are two twins that cannot be separated (despite their owner's attempts at birth). The pair were born to Bestila and Burr as her first litter, which was a disappointment for the owner since he needed more dogs to sell to pay off his mounting financial debt--and rent. The two were rambunctious and trashed the house--Vali never admits to being such a troublesome puppy and blames Ve for the destruction--resulting in eviction from the rental property. Ve says it wasn't their 'over-exuberant playtimes' but rather a lack of money. Vali disagrees. The pair moved with the breeder and family to the outskirts of the city where Ve discovered the wonders of the outside world, particularly the nearby state game lands. The countryside had larger spaces and, more importantly, larger dogs. While on a hike once with the family, Vali and Ve took off into the forest. The pair came upon a pair of larger dogs, one Tibetan Mastiff and a Great Dane. It was their lucky day to project the stress of an abusive owner onto the otherwise innocent shelties. The twins were in intensive vet care for two weeks after that. After the incident, Ve noticed a change in her brother's personality. He became more reserved, paranoid, and helicopter parent-ish about Ve's actions. Ve buried the memory of being beaten to doggy pulp and rekindled her love of the forest. Ve had no desire to become a breeder like her mother; Bestila had told her how terrifying labor was and encouraged her to stay and relinquish her "troublesome, immature attitude." That was a done deal for Ve. She left during the night and decided not to mention it to Vali since she knew he was more comfortable with routine and a toasty house than the adventures Ve had dreamt of. It was only two days later when a frantic Vali found her and joined her side.
