Overall Appearance • White coat, chestnut brown eyes, back left leg has a minute scar from a surgery on a tendon in the region. Otherwise untouched. Her guard dog training means she has taut muscles, but neglect has lead them to atrophy with time. She loved to go on long runs with her owners, lending to strong endurance. Her long fur does not allow a close look at her muscles, but the white color and pink skin means she is more susceptible to sunburn. She handles stress by either internalizing it or bursting out in seemingly uncharacteristic bouts of anger. She's protective, but only to the point of defending interests. She is rarely close enough to others to be emotionally tied to them, but she protects those whom she cares about with vigor. Indira values hierarchy, but she has an even greater love of climbing to the top. The Guptas were a pair of doctors, somewhat stereotypical but nonetheless unique, and had a deep love of hiking. What truly intrigued her, though, were the sounds of the city and the mix of dogs that wandered the alleys. Indira would be left behind at the large house for hours upon end since doctors have long hours; she managed to find ways outside the fence into the wild and became enamored with the world outside the walls. Indira waited until another guard dog was brought along before she felt safe enough to leave the Guptas behind at age 2. It was a clean break, not being a family pet nor being a piece of protective property--the Gupta family only searched for her for 6 months using a variety of lost papers with her picture on it before they gave up hope. The world outside the Gupta household was harsh, and Indira was largely unprepared. Despite being trained to be your average guard dog (and never having to use those techniques), she was, at best, an amateur stray. The next year hardened the canine, forcing a mask of persona and a fake background in order to hide her rather posh upbringing. A rather "exotic," forcibly thickened Indian accent made her a charmer and she relied more on her wits than her strength to navigate the streets.
