Overall Appearance • Aerwyna's coat is a pale cream color, though her ears, tail, and the area around her eyes is a slightly darker shade. Her lips, nose, and the rims of her eyes are pigmented with charcoal, a stark contrast to the rest of her face. Aerwyna is of medium height, and is sightly on the leaner side. In between her toes is a layer of webbing, and paired with her otter-like tail, this makes her an excellent swimmer. the personality Likes • Water, swimming, adventures. Dislikes • Killing, laziness, boredom. Strengths • Agility, endurance. Weaknesses • Physical strength, love for people. Skills • Swimming, navigating rooftops. Fears • Getting attached to others, losing ones she cares about, being betrayed. Overall personality • Aerwyna is, for the most part, collected and reserved. Her mind works at a mile a minute, becoming easily bored when she is left without something to do. Due to this, Aerwyna takes reckless means to entertain herself, finding each time she has to push herself further for the rush of adrenaline. Overall, Aerwyna is not unkind, but she can become easily irritated by the antics of others, especially when she is bored. She is at her happiest when she is active, enjoying long runs, rooftop jumping, or swimming. She is careful in word choice but not entirely quiet, instead asserting herself in a calm manner that seems to demand respect, as she will not settle for being walked upon. When agitated, Aerwyna is, in a word, a snake. She will use her words to draw out insecurities, leave the deepest cuts possible on someone who crosses her. Aerwyna does not tolerate disrespect, and as long as she is shown respect, she will give it in turn. Her own biggest fault is people - she loves them. Aerwyna becomes depressed upon rejection by a human, even if it is just a passerby who means nothing to her. She cannot bring herself to steal from their food carts, or to take food from their young. Aerwyna longs to do her best to keep people happy, and has a hard time convincing herself that it is no longer her job, she is no longer theirs. Aerwyna is almost blind to their faults, reluctant to accept that they are not as kind to her as she makes them out to be. However, when it comes down to it, she would choose her fellow canines over them. One thing Aerwyna never wants to be seen as is disloyal. the history Father • Levant Mother • Mare Siblings • Neoma, Roshan, Sunniva Overall History • Aerwyna was born into a human household, a well-recognized labrador breeder. They, from a young age, instilled in her a love of people. They were nothing but kind to her. They fed her, they lavished love upon her, they massaged her fur with their hands in the gentlest of ways. She spent the first two months of her life with them, growing to love them and everyone like them. When she turned nine weeks old, it was time for her and her siblings to be sent off to their permanent homes. Aerwyna was chosen right around the middle of the group, by a nice family with two young children who smelled of food and whose sticky hands prodded at her, tugging on her face and ears. Aerwyna did not mind - they were her family to love and care for. Eventually, the children began spending long hours away, sent off a thing they called 'school.' Aerwyna wished she could rescue them from this beast that stole them away, for they smelled of regret when they left and exhaustion and relief upon returning. As she grew, they began to pay less and less attention to her, retreating to their dens soon after returning home and shutting her out behind closed doors. The older ones still petted her, still loved her, but they did not have the time to provide the activity and care she needed. Aerwyna grew destructive, bored out of her mind when the children and the older ones left. Her family did not approve of this. They still loved her, though, and she loved them. Because of this, she told herself, everything would be okay. She was a year of age when things changed. The children no longer cooed over her adoringly, the parents did not have time though they loved her dearly. One day, they took her for a car ride, dropped her off at a big gray building, and did not come back for her. They'd left her at places before when they went away, and so Aerwyna waited. She watched eagerly every person that walked by, hoping one might be her person, but they did not return. Aerwyna watched as the puppies all got taken, each one by children who reminded her so much of her own. Aerwyna never stopped looking, never stopped hoping that they would come back for her. But they did not, and so one day Aerwyna decided something must have prevented them from returning to her. It was her job to find them, to show that she was okay and she forgave them for leaving her, because she knew they tried their hardest to get her back. One day, when she was in the yard taking a break from her kennel, Aerwyna began to dig. She dug until there was a hole underneath the fence big enough for her to slip through. When she made it through, Aerwyna bolted without looking back. That place had kept her from her people, and now she was going to find them. But she did not. The city was towering, terrifying, and of all the jumbled scents she could not find that of her people. Every day she grew more and more confused, more and more lost. There came a day when she was forced to accept that she was not going to see her family again. I'm sorry I could not find you. I tried... I tried to get back to you. I still love you, and I haven't forgotten you. I hope, wherever you are, you feel the same. the role player Alias • Rain Pronouns • She/her Other Characters • None |
